Our Vision
The aim of the institution is not only to impart Fine Arts Education with a clear curriculum based system but also to holistically develop the personality of the students, by cultivating the values that enhance conduct, character, and behaviour through the emphasis on culture and tradition. It is our heartfelt belief that self-discipline in all areas will lead the students to true learning and construct them to become good citizens of our country.
Our History
Shri. Premnath founded Rukminidevi Natyakshetra Foundation in 1997 after completing his formal education in Bharathanatyam at Kalakshetra. Inspired by Smt. Rukminidevi, he chose to be a teacher rather than a performer due to the lack of systematic teaching in his childhood dance classes. The foundation started with one student and has grown to over 300 students, offering certificate courses in Bharathanatyam, Vocal, Painting, and Musical Instruments. In 2022, with support from late Sri Chandrasekar, the foundation moved to its own campus after operating from Meenakshi Matriculation School premises since 2007.
